The included Wireless Sensor transmits the outdoor temperature to the Sharp Atomic Wall Clock, and can be placed anywhere within 100 feet of the receiving unit, eliminating the need for any wire installation.

The Atomic Clock's Daylight Savings Time setting can be easily set to "ON" during setup, allowing for automatic adjustments. The clock's built-in receiver automatically synchronizes it with the WWVB radio signal, keeping it accurate to within one second. The Wireless Outdoor Sensor, included in the package, transmits the outdoor temperature to the Atomic Wall Clock, with the sensor able to be placed up to 100 feet away from the receiving unit, thanks to the wireless technology.

If the atomic icon is flashing, the clock is searching for the Atomic signal, and users should wait until the icon stops flashing before continuing with the setup. In most areas, the signal can be received at night, and if the clock doesn't receive the WWVB Atomic Signal immediately, it will be set in the morning after waiting overnight.

The Atomic Clock's Jumbo 3-inch Tall LCD Time Display makes it easy to read and use, and it can be set up as either a wall clock or a desk clock with its integrated stand, making it suitable for placement in any part of the home. In addition to the time, the clock also displays the indoor and outdoor temperatures, as well as the calendar and day of the week.

The main unit of the Sharp Atomic Wall Clock is powered by 3 AA batteries, while the Wireless Sensor requires 2 AAA batteries, both of which are not included in the package.
