Sharpening Instructions: - For straight-edged knives, insert the blade fully and vertically into the V-notch carbide sharpening slot and pull the blade from heel to tip. - For single-beveled blades, position the sharpener over the heel of the blade, aligning the angled carbide blade with the beveled side, and pull the sharpener from heel to tip. - For wide-bevel blades, secure the blade in a vise, lower the sharpener into the V-notch slot, and pull the sharpener across the cutting edge from one end to the other. - For other edged tools, use the carbide bar to sharpen and the ceramic bar to hone, maintaining an approximate 20-degree angle between the edge and the bars.
